Welcome to this weekend excursion like no other........

Well,  who runs the country.   Ned Beatty the actor said 'there is no democracy' the world is really a 'college of corportations' in his monologue in the 1976 movie "Network" and that proven beyond a shadow of a doubt as we got out of bed Monday morning to find out the "Washington Redskins" were no more.

"major sponsors FedEx, Nike, Pepsi and Bank of America all called on Mr. Snyder to consider finally changing the name"

"Last week Amazon, Walmart and Target, Nike and other retail stores removed team merchandise from their websites"....BBC STORY

And then later in the week we got this:

"Walmart will require customers at all of its US stores to wear masks beginning next week"

"Other national chains made similar moves on Wednesday, Kroger and Kohl's announced they would start requiring all customers to wear masks".....CNN STORY

The big corporations are running this country and we are all serfs as far as they are concerned to be controlled and told what we can say or do, what names are appropriate for sports teams whatever.



China is a Communist dictatorship that allows capitalism as long as it serves the interest of the  party-state and the USA is a Corporatist dictatorship that allows capitalism as long as it serves the interest of the college of corporations. 


The big corporations are organized on all this through the Business Roundtable involving the top 200 companies in the country including one of my two employers.    They became very active after George Floyd's murder pushing notions about "systemic racism" and the need for "equity" and so on.



And lets make it clear they are running scared to keep customers they don't care about cops killing people like George Floyd,  Breonna Taylor or LaVoy Finicum ultimately they need cops to protect their businesses.


They are acting as a dictatorship and here's where the POTUS needs to use force to tell them who's boss IMHO.


But if the one in Washington DC isn't up to the task "We The People" are the ultimate authority like you, me and "President Ammon Bundy" who made the "We The People"  point in Caldwell, Idaho Thursday........VIDEO LINK



I read some nasty racist sounding comments on that video but I figure the left-wing crowd and the federal operatives?  pretending to be racist are around.

Ammon Bundy is a man of peace and a man who's seeking to follow his Higher Power.    Racists real or fake need not join but defenders of the Constitution and Freedom should.      People who love God and Peace as well should join in....

As for those groups of "racists" out there how many of them are in the end just left-wing operatives or more importantly FBI federal government informants still trying to go after Ammon Bundy.    The feds as in AG William Barr appealing dismissal of charges against him, his father and brother in the April 2014 Bunkerville Standoff near Bundy Ranch in Nevada.

THE STORY OF "FIFTH GRADE WOKE"

The music I listened to in 1971 a broad playlist of some 100 songs on WNOW Radio  York, PA country music formatted but again bringing in the folk rock alongside George Jones and Tammy Wynette,  Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Charley Pride etc etc. etc.


And tough times it seemed growing up or I guess more appropriately not growing up.    I got stuck at six years old even though I was some years older by then.   Bad things happen that 10 percent and I was having trouble with the 90 percent of how one reacts to sexual molestation.


Bullying was all around me and it was something I dealt with into 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th grades.   And yes the shadow of that bullying is with me to this day.


I was in fifth grade in those hippy dippy days and there were divides in society and conflicts.   The teachers went on strike back then the LBJ inflation kicked in on their salaries and they blocked the school buses trying to get into the local high school.    A judge issued an order sending them back to work the next day.


But my fifth grade teacher actually went to work that day.    She went to work every day diligently about her business of trying to teach and or preach her gentle liberal ideas sort of Hubert Humphrey style liberalism which was rooted in the small town in South Dakota where he grew up but of course modified by education and political involvement in the New Deal. 


She was aware of the bullying and she was aware of the sort of prejudice which I carried in my soul at that time.


The school had a divide in it with 75 percent one kind and 25 percent the other kind.    It wasn't a racial divide between White and Black.


It was actually the divide between Gentile and Jew.


The Jewish community congregated in my neighborhood which put it within walking distance of the local synagogues.


And that meant one out of every four students was Jewish in my school.



So one day she took a serious stab at preaching-teaching about the bullying of some students and the hatred of Jewish students.



I suspect the other teachers must of have been spreading a similar message because what happened on the playground that day was a spectacle that I do remember.


I was one of a group in our class that was victimized by bullies on a regular basis and when one of the bullies moved in on me other students noticed and quickly moved into the situation joined by others until the tide of the crowd of students,  the "mob of students" was pushing the bully back and forth too and fro across the playground.


It was a situation far beyond the control of the two "teacher aides" on the playground so it had a momentum of its own for 10 minutes it seemed until the bully was presented to the teacher aides as a perp being turned into police.



In those moments when the other students became that mob on behalf of me, the victim of bullying, I experienced a moment just like that Rodney King did during the 1992 Los Angeles riots in his name.


In my own way I was saying in my heart and even a little bit through the roar of the hundred or more students in that swirl:

"Can't we all just get along"

That situation of course did not stop bullying or intimidation in my life or in the world in general but it certainly created a stir.


Humanistic approaches have never changed a person's heart and when I consider that notion of bullying  and  the  Anti-Semitism in my life I have to consider the "One Day At A Time" spiritual approach to be the ultimate game changer in my life.


Its the Steps, its sobriety, its sanity I needed to get in right relation to myself and the rest of humanity.     That's my experience.

The business, education, political leaders etc, talk about "systemic racism" and "equity" and the list goes on but the words are very empty and very powerless.    The laws and rules like changing sports team names

, tearing down flags, statues etc. they push in the name of stopping "hate" only breeding more resentment and creating the threat of counter-attacks including violent ones.

I don't for one minute hate those people.   Pray for them for peace and serenity, sanity and sobriety in their lives.

They pass rules like "hate crime" laws thinking that's change when its only something else just a shifting of the whip onto different backs that will come back and rebel and bite those doing the whipping.

I guess Communists do want to provoke a fight with their opponents to create a revolution, but I must pray as a former political activist myself that they would repent of their intoxication with politics and power as a solution to the evil in our world.

Well back to 1971 and as I experienced the pain of living those days I also found something to listen to on the radio.     A powerful song that spoke to me at that time was on country music radio.    Dolly Parton sang it.......

As I moved on through 1971 I found a radio preacher I had read about in the left-wing newspaper he was called an "Anti-Semite" so I was attracted but in the end his message was anything but Anti-Semitic and the Jewish grandmother I was involved with in my youth gave me his newspaper to read make no mistake.

"Freedom Is Everybody's Business"

said the man who liberals targeted with the "Fairness Doctrine" enforced by the Federal Communications Commission of Republican President Richard M. Nixon.

"Law And Order"

meant a crackdown on the "right-wing" radio preacher and the beat goes on in our day. 

William Barr "Sinister"  hasn't backed off the prosecution of those patriots at Bunkerville in 2014 and the co-chair of "Veterans for Trump" in the 2016 New Hampshire primary, Jerry Delemus, remains imprisoned and not pardoned by President Trump.

I am watching Mr. President as three men Jerry Delemus, Todd Engel and Greg Burleson remain imprisoned over Bunkerville.......

Last night we saw Portland Police led by their "Chief of Color" Chuck Lovell act ultimately in tandem with the feds against the leftist groups.    Lovell brought in following the Floyd murder for what?      Window dressing.

Ultimately the people who really control our country and bankroll "Liberal-Left" Democrats and "Conservative-Right" Republican politicians from Mayor Ted Wheeler in Portland to Senator Ted Cruz in Texas and so many other groups like CPAC or NAACP and the list goes on to Jackson and Sharpton and the Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood, National Right To Life name your special interest group or personality.......

They all suck from the corporate udder......the 'college of corporations' mentioned earlier.

Those outfits and individuals all front for the big money behind them to limit the scope of the debate to shadow boxing instead of deep changes and this nation drifts further into the hole financially and otherwise.......

Got a chance to take a break from working the two jobs to go out this week and eat.    It was in house dining.   I then moved on to a park and saw lots of "unmuzzled" "undiapered" people walking around playing sports and so on here in Pennsylvania.   Heck must have been a thousand of them it seemed.......




"The Cowsills" were around some 50 years ago and one night I remember seeing Buddy Ebsen of "Beverly Hillbillies" fame introducing them during a TV special........

The Trump Administration and Mayor Ted Wheeler appearing to be on the same page colluding to break up the protest on the streets last night.    Jo Ann Hardesty, left-leaning council member, in anger over the matter.

The story today in Portland being tweeted by Maxine Bernstein from the "Portland Oregonian/OregonLive".     She covers police and the courts but is off this week on a furlough with mainstream media short on money to pay its employees.

Remembering summer a lot with the music here in some cases and I remember the blackout in New York City from July of 1977.     I happened about 930 pm with the TV network shows being fed out of New York stopped in their tracks.     In Philly where I happened to be all the stations put "technical difficulty' slides up until the network feed could be rerouted from another city.     KYW-TV anchors Vince Leonard and Jack Jones appeared to tell viewers about the blackout.



I surfed the radio dial to find out what was happening........

The man who anchored news at WPVI-TV in Philadelphia for a number of years anchored the 11 pm news on WABC-TV and 25 and half hours later with most of the power restored he led the coverage of the the return to normal.    Larry Kane would return to Philadelphia at WCAU-TV and KYW-TV still contributing material for KYW Radio nowadays.......
