A deal has been reached between the widow and eldest daughter of French singing legend Johnny Hallyday over his inheritance.    The conflict between Laeticia Hallyday and Laura Smet boiled over in the aftermath of his death in December 2017.

Smet will receive a payment of 1.68 million dollars plus other concessions.   Laeticia Hallyday will assume tax debts for her late husband totaling 33.6 million dollars by selling a property in France and two homes in Los Angeles.    Johnny Hallyday spent a large amount of his lifetime in the United States and was inspired by American music.  Son David Hallyday is also part of the agreement.....(BFM-TV Google Translation).
