President Emmanuel Macron's new Prime Minister Jean Castex shaking up the cabinet with a new Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.

But the man who oversees the police in France comes in under the cloud of a rape accusation from 2017 revived by the French judiciary last month and still not resolved.    The Paris Court of Appeal calling for the new investigation last month.
