Hugh Downs has died at the age of 99 in Scottsdale, Arizona.     His family says the death not from Covid-19.    Downs broadcasting career spanned six decades.    At NBC he was the sidekick of "Tonight Show" host Jack Paar in the late 1950's and early 1960's.    Later Downs was host of the "Today Show".    He also was the host of the ABC News program "20/20".......ABC NEWS STORY
