Here we are again with you on the weekend hoping you find the next right thing to do and working on that same matter myself of course.


Lets go back to the Oregon Standoff protest four years ago that set the stage so that Dwight and Steven Hammond could be freed from their unjust conviction and imprisonment as terrorists for lighting a backfire to protect their land from a brushfire.

I wanted to share a video from the widow of LaVoy Finicum, who gave his life for their freedom.

Jeanette Finicum updates us on the wrongful death lawsuit with plantiffs wanting to dismiss it and a court hearing for March 6th.

Also there's going to be an event on the fourth anniversary of LaVoy's death in Oregon.....

The political machine of the Republicans acted and President Trump signed off on a pardon of the Hammonds because the Oregon Standoff protesters went there and sacrificed time and more going to prison till they were found not guilty or in the rigged trial of some protesters being forced to jail and pay fines.

And LaVoy Finicum made the ultimate sacrifice.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. broke the law nonviolently to force the moderate political machine to do what they would otherwise not do.    More on that next weekend.


BUNKERVILLE STANDOFF UPDATE



From the Bunkerville Standoff a reminder that the US Justice Department still wants to prosecute key people like Cliven and Ammon Bundy involved even though they withheld evidence proving their innocence and were called out for their "gross misconduct" in the matter by a federal judge.


An appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will be heard in Las Vegas in March.

In Libya and Syria the bloody and brutal civil wars began with street demonstrations perped by the jihadists backed by France, the UK and the USA.      The Al Qaeda followers and admirers of Osama Bin Laden unleashed on those lands.


In recent months street protests unleashed against the Lebanese and Iraqi governments seen as being too close and friendly to Iran.


And in Iran itself street protests against higher fuel prices and allegations  that the government put them down killing thousands of people have been the entree to the killing of General Qassem Soleimani.

IMPEACHMENT IS BAD, SUPPORTING AL QAEDA IS WORSE



President Trump rages against Iran, then Syria and Russia over their conduct of the war in Syria.


They are killing the kind of people in who perpetrated 9/11 and who killed and wounded Americans in Pensacola, Florida at the naval air station last month and who killed three Americans in Kenya last weekend.

They are killing the Sunni Muslim terrorists of the Al Qaeda Movement, the admirers of Bin Laden.


General Qassem Soleimani of Iran responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans to be sure, but also responsible for killing thousands of people like those who have killed thousands of Americans.



At the "Sic Semper Tyrannis" blog former CIA employee Larry Johnson puts terrorism in perspective reminding us that Sunni Islamic terrorism outweighs any Shia Iranian terrorism massively.


In recent years Iranian related terrorism stands at a level that has caused virtually no casualties while the other kind linked to Saudi Arabia's theology has raged around the world.

BREAKING NEWS LIBYA-LIBYAN NATIONAL ARMY DECLARES CEASE FIRE THEN CLAIMS ITS BEING VIOLATED



He had told us Friday that he wasn't interested in  a cease-fire.    But today the Libyan National Army grand poobah Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar declared a cease-fire for Sunday as pushed by Russia's Vladimir Putin and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan when the two leaders met last Tuesday.


The LNA fighting the Tripoli based Government of National Accord recognized by the UN and supported by Turkey.


Here's the cease-fire story from  Russia's Tass at 546 pm Eastern US Time..... LINK      Then at 743 pm Eastern US Time today Tass puts out a story quoting the Libyan National Army as saying the GNA is violating the cease-fire.....LINK


Russia by the way backing the Libyan National Army along with Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

We're moving towards the end tonight and I will dispense with the news summary I apologize to anyone hoping for that tonight but mention some items.


I mention that Vladimir Putin is saying that the Nord Stream Pipeline is due for completion early next year 2021.    The Nord Stream 2 bringing natural gas direct from Russia into Germany being completed by Russia following US sanctions against European companies involved in the project.


And updating the pre-civil war attempt in Iran tonight with more street protests using the Ukrainian airliner incident to incite trouble.     President Trump tweeting "support" for the "Iranian people".


The British ambassador arrested and detained for an hour in Tehran after he appeared at a "vigil" on the streets of Iran's capital city.



Lets focus on the issues here at home and butt out of other people's business.
