I ended this week thinking about Christ on the Cross being executed saying:

After Christ died so many in his name doing evil deeds committing heinous acts against people in general and Jews in particular often saying:
"The Jews Killed Jesus"
The will of my Higher Power is that all those involved in killing Him would be forgiven not judged or hated or persecuted or murdered.
And so, when followers of Jesus defend the Jews they are carrying out the will of G-d IMHO.
So yes, Jesus stripped of his clothes up on the cross in his underwear mocked reminds me of something...

"The legendary American situation comedy writer-producer Norman Lear is dead at the age of 101.
Lear said to have died from natural causes.
He made a name for himself going into the 1970's with a string of hit TV shows led by "All in the Family" whose central character was a bigot using language considered inappropriate today.
Lear became a political activist in the 1980's helping to create "People for the American Way" to oppose the "Religious Right".
Lear enlisting the help of 1964 Republican Presidential candidate Barry Goldwater in that endeavor.
People for the American Way evolved into a key front organization for the Democrat Party in the United States.
Tributes from many quarters pouring in today including actors like George Clooney and Jane Fonda.
Liberal activist Rob Reiner, one of the stars of "All in the Family", calling Lear a "second father"...

Back in the 1970's people like myself clearly saw a "liberal bias" in Norman Lear's efforts couldn't he give 'conservatives' something and at one point Norman Lear actually involved himself in a show with a "conservative" central character.
It lasted one season on CBS I remember watching this show called "All's Fair" Richard Crenna as the William F. Buckley Jr. type columnist character and Bernadette Peters as a liberal photographer who barges into his life to become his live-in lover.
Well, that was Norman Lear's notion of a Conservative I guess in the Swinging 1970's...

It was the "Oregon Standoff" protest of 2016 led by Ammon Bundy that began a process that ended with me launching this blog and the kind of posts you see daily.
The Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in the rigged trial of four of the lesser defendants in the protest.
After the leading defendants including Ammon Bundy were acquitted in 2016 at their federal trial subsequent trials saw the federal trial judge Anna Brown and the then US Attorney Billy Williams teaming up to rig things against defendants who were convicted.
