Marine Le Pen commenting on last Saturday night's terrorist attack in Paris during a question period in the National Assembly Tuesday.
Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne responded accusing Le Pen of seeking to 'fuel controversy'.
FRENCH PRIME MINISTER ELISABETH BORNE INTERVIEWED BY 'LE FIGARO' SAYING:
"I don't believe in the normalization of the National Rally"
BORNE CONTENDING THAT THE RN LEADER IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MARINE LE PEN HAS NOT REPUDIATED THE BELIEFS OF HER FATHER JEAN MARIE LE PEN.
THE PRIME MINISTER TRYING TO LINK THE NOTION THAT FOR MARINE LE PEN TO BE TRULY OPPOSED TO ANTI-SEMITISM SHE MUST BE CRITICAL OF HER FATHER.
And the reason for Borne to link the daughter Le Pen with the father Le Pen became clear late Friday when a court decided that a case alleging wrongdoing by Marine Le Pen, her father Jean-Marie Le Pen, the National Rally and 25 other people should go to trial.
The investigation started way back in 2015 and involves alleged financial irregularities involving the National Rally's European Parliament members and their assistants.
The trial of Marine Le Pen and the others set for next October and November.

The procession departed from near the Gare de l'Est rail station in Paris and moved through the streets. Many umbrellas used with rainy conditions prevailing.
The dozens of protests including many wearing Yellow Vests some with messages written on the back of them.
