Depardieu dealing with a rape case in the criminal justice system and other accusations leveled in a recent TV documentary from France 2 television.
The week before President Emmanuel Macron offering his support to Depardieu.
A full page ad appeared in "Le Monde" on Wednesday condemning Mr Macron's support of Depardieu describing it as a defense of "rape culture".
2,500 signatories on a manifesto this weekend condemning Depardieu and denouncing a 'law of silence'.
ON CHRISTMAS DAY THE PLANE WITH ALLEGED TIES TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING WAS ALLOWED TO LEAVE FRANCE. TWO INDIVIDUALS WITH LARGE SUMS OF CASH TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WITH 25 OTHERS SEEKING ASYLUM IN FRANCE.

Many protesters today with their Yellow Vests others not wearing vests. A yellow flag used in the protest today.

One demonstrator today with writing on the back of their yellow vest with the large word:
"Dictature" or "Dictatorship"
at the top of the vest smaller words in the middle of the vest and at the bottom the large word:
"Liberte" or "Freedom"
Another big word at the bottom of that vest an abbreviation reading:
"RIC"
"Citizens Initiative Referendum"
This a major demand early on in the Yellow Vests protest back in 2018 for the people to be allowed to initiate referendums on issues of concern.
The yellow banner at the front of the demonstration also referencing the 'RIC' and fiscal and social justice.
There were a few Palestinian flags in today's protest a very hot and sensitive issue the Left in France being targeted at "Extreme" and "Anti-Semitic" right now.
In this small band of protesters one does wonder about government provocateurs agents seeking to discredit any and all protest opposing President Emmanuel Macron and his Liberal Capitalist Moderate Centrist policies.
Overall the crowd appeared to be fewer than 100 people.
