I'm opposed to Abortion, Racism and agree with the notion of Men as Pastors but I must say why aren't religious organizations committed to the core values of "the Faith".
A challenge to Men and Women not to be sexually wrong if you will (Commandment Seven) that alone would have been a breath of fresh air for the Southern Baptists.
The SBC has a list going right now of sexual wrongdoers from the past and has had to deal with this problem in a major way quietly internally.
I have been wrong sexually and as mentioned earlier I am a flaccid host today I am not aroused I have not intoxicated myself with Lust I feel clean I feel "Closer to the Lord" if you will.
In My Humble Opinion the Higher Power would be pleased with some confession some repentance some serious 12 Step Housecleaning in this area of sexual conduct not to mention the lying and stealing and so on.
We have a long way to go in cleaning up the churches in a New Testament kind of way and those letters to the churches in the Good Book are all about stuff like sexual misconduct 'in the church'.

It was something like 42 years ago I'm in the city walking in the subway station tunnels with a group of other students one of them a girl who was an inspiration to me she ends up grabbing me placing me in front of her to protect her.
Those were the days I lived the life of an immature person a six-year old in a 20 something body a guy who was a "jerk" looking for places to see females without clothes and getting doped up on sex with self.
While all this happened I was fully involved in religious activities with that woman who grabbed me to protect her.
I was a student evangelist sharing tracts with folks on campus.
So yes, my story my experience again reminds me that women lead when men are weak and impotent and the sins of men create their weakness.
