YELLOW VESTS MARCH IN PARIS SATURDAY JUNE 24, 2023
The French government continuing to move against protest groups.
The Interior Ministry closing the environmentalist group Les Soulevements de la Terre shut down accused of involvement in violent protests.
Activist Greta Thunberg spoke in Paris on Thursday citing the French government shutdown of the protest group in conjunction with similar moves taking place in other countries. Thunberg said in part:
"They are paying the price for defending life and for the right to protest"...
