Emmanuel Macron staged an event "Choose France" on Monday promoting the notion of Global Business investing in France.
Luminaries like Elon Musk meeting Mr. Macron.
The event brought promises of 13 billion Euros of investment in France (14 billion US Dollars).
And speaking of "staged events" they seemed to appear during the week.
A very disturbing event Tuesday with the Grand Nephew of President Macron's wife, Brigitte, attacked.
Injuries reported in the attack including broken ribs, a hand wound and a head wound.
Wide condemnation from the Right and Left in French politics.
Eight arrested with some of those arrested denying that they even touched Jean-Baptiste Trogneux outside the family owned candy shop in Amiens.

And on Thursday a media stir over posters of Emmanuel Macron put on display the night before. The posters depicting Macron with a Hitler moustache.

Friday brought a ruling from an Administrative Court in Lille against the government for keeping a file on people arrested during the protests against pension reform.

The G7 also setting the stage for future dealings with China likely to involve possible military and economic warfare surrounding Taiwan.
Mr. Macron speaking of a need to deal with China by engaging with it and opposing it at the same time.
