I watched Howard Smith on television in the 1970's but did not have his book in hand when I considered a comparison of the modern world with Nazi Germany.
It was my 'project' for an advanced history class in my senior year of high school to compare the modern world with Nazi Germany.
The liberal sex education was easy enough to find sex was allowed inside or outside of marriage the Hitler Youth were told this and those with moral views (Catholic Youth) were offended.
I had F.A Hayek in the library ("Road To Serfdom") with some economic comparisons of Communism and Fascism.
I saw pictures arousing ones for me of virtually naked women on floats at a Nazi "arts festival" in Munich.
But I was too confused drunk not sober enough yet and I hadn't read what Howard Smith had to say in his book.
It was so simple so profound and so much the same thing that happened in the UK and US post World War II.
Nazi Germany was defeated militarily but would win culturally because Western thinking would adopt the notion of Pornography as Art.
The dehumanization of humanity in Nazi "Art" using the private parts displayed graphically to promote the use of sexual powers for human reproduction.
And the ultimate "Live Performance Art" of Nazi Germany with the industrial scale snuff pornography of the Holocaust.

Crazy Maricopa County coming out in front of a deadline to comply with a subpoena from the Election Integrity Unit of the Arizona Attorney General's Office. The deadline 930 am (1130 am Eastern US Time) Monday.
So the folks in Maricopa rolling out their results at 8 am (10 am Eastern US Time) Monday.
The other counties in Arizona expected to follow later in the day the Republican leaning counties outside of Phoenix and Tucson dropping their final numbers.
"Mohave County is my county and I made the motion to delay certification.
That does not mean we are not going to certify on November 28th which is the legal deadline.

Any hidden surprises who knows but the Republican leaning counties will have a chance to do their thing alongside the other three Democrat leaning counties once Maricopa "leads the way" Monday morning.
The claim of the results so far a 17,116 vote lead for Democrat Katie Hobbs over Republican Kari Lake in the Governor's race and a much narrower 510 vote lead for Democrat Kris Mayes over Republican Abe Hamadeh in the race for Attorney General.

"The DeeJays" caught my eye on the shelf in the library at my high school I dreamed of being a radio personality back in those days.
In its pages the stories of countless radio personalities and programming concepts from the 1920's through the 1960's.
A lot of history of media many many famous names here I first read about Boss Radio 93 KHJ here among other things.
I read this book again in recent days and the names just pop out like Eddie Hubbard of Chicago radio fame and the Gamblings of WOR in New York and so many others...

BLAST FROM THE PAST-43 YEARS AGO TODAY-GEOFF EDWARDS ON THE RADIO IN LOS ANGELES
November 26, 1979 on the radio between 9 and 10 am 710 on the AM dial in LA meant KMPC and Geoff Edwards.
KMPC a very successful radio station back then with personalities like Number One ratings grabber Dick Whittinghill in the morning and the very famous Gary Owens in the afternoon.
But this is the 9 to 10 am hour news, music and commercials with Geoff Edwards who had a career that included television game shows among other things....
AND FINALLY SOME MUSIC I ENCOUNTERED BACK AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 1980'S
The 1970's for me was a decade of country music but I grew weary and skeptical my religious passions very conservative and the sexualized songs like Mel Tills singing about "I got the hoss and she got the saddle" seemed a bit off to me.
Those passionate radio preachers out there railed against the "Christian Rock" but it wasn't until about 1980 I actually heard some of it played on the radio out here in the East.
But out West in 1975 KYMS Radio in Orange County, California the Los Angeles area started playing this "Contemporary Christian Music".
Around 1980 I was going through deep depression in my life and a transition that would lead me into listening to and loving this kind of music.
After the intro a sampling of the music for an hour or so this is one of 11 such You Tube videos featuring early CCM as played on KYMS Radio 106.3...
