An Austrian military expert says that most of the 300,000 soldiers mobilized by Russian President Vladimir Putin in late September are still training.

Colonel Berthold Sandtner tells the Austrian Press Agency that 100,000 of those soldiers already being used to stabilize the front lines.

He says that the other 200,000 soldiers should be finished with their training in the coming weeks.
