As the increasingly obvious attempt to pump up Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as the Republican nominee in 2024 and undercut President Trump continues the counting of the votes continues.
These Mid-Term Elections have seen Republicans gain control of the US House and maybe the US Senate depending on the counts in Arizona and Nevada.
In Clark County (Las Vegas) just over 50,000 ballots said to be outstanding with the claim that "most" will be counted by Saturday.

NEW UPDATED NEVADA NUMBERS WITH LATE VOTE DROPS THURSDAY
There have been shifts in the votes in Nevada tonight and the latest at 11 pm Eastern time leaves things looking like this 90 percent of the state's total vote now said to be counted.
The leads of Republican statewide candidates narrowing.
Nevada Republican US Senate candidate Adam Laxalt now with a lead of just over 8,000 votes and the GOP candidate for Governor Joe Lombardo enjoying a 27,500 plus vote lead...PBS-NEVADA ELECTION RESULTS
Also up in the air in Nevada are three seats in the US House not determined yet.
ADDITIONAL VOTES DROPPING IN ARIZONA THIS EVENING
And then there's the situation in Arizona with the Republican MAGA ticket of President Trump Kari Lake for Governor, Blake Masters for US Senate, Mark Finchem for Secretary of State and Abe Hamadeh for Attorney General still behind in the counting of votes.
Much hanging on this race including the power of President Trump's endorsement. Mr. Trump has tallied a 219-16 record for these Mid-Term Elections.
But a win for this ticket would a jewel in Mr. Trump's crown.
More votes trickled out today going into a holiday weekend.
Pima County (Tucson) moved its vote count up to the 73 percent level today adding to the lead for Democrats.
Maricopa County where Phoenix is located at a standstill the vote count not to be finished until next week. Maricopa dropped votes this evening now 78.04 percent of its vote is counted.
Statewide 74.96 percent of the vote estimated to be counted by 830 pm local time Kari Lake at 1,004,837 and Katie Hobbs at 1,031,816 or 49.3 percent for Lake and 50.7 percent for Hobbs.
In the Senate Race Blake Masters at 46.1 percent with incumbent Mark Kelly at 51.7 percent.
The key to a shift in the vote is that the votes remaining are actual Election Day votes that favor Republican candidates.
Kari Lake expressing confidence along with local Republican officials like those in Yavapai County who have said that the votes now being counted break 65 percent or better for the GOP.
And the remaining votes must break close to 60 percent or better for the GOP to pull Blake Masters over the top.
Mark Finchem the MAGA GOP candidate for Secretary of State now at 47.3 percent and Abe Hamadeh the Attorney General candidate with a better percentage than Kari Lake 49.6 percent.
The whole ticket wins if the remaining votes break around 60 percent for the GOP.
