(Updated) Another US railroad union rejecting a tentative contract this week.
The vote by the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen follows a thumbs down vote by another railroad union earlier this month.
It now appears certain that two other large railroad unions will turn down contract agreements when results are released on November 21st.
The "status quo" periods for the first two unions and the railroads run out on November 19th and December 4th and for the other unions that period is later in December.
The dispute more about working conditions long hours and limited time off for railroad workers than pay.
Earlier this year Joe Biden intervened in the dispute to avert a strike and set up the process now underway.
Events are moving towards a strike by railroad workers or a lockout by the railroads in December.
This would impact freight and passenger railroad traffic nationwide...
