Getting back to Billy Graham his son Franklin Graham coming here where his dad did back in 1948 tomorrow and the "Progressive Christians" (Fronting For The Democrats?) are upset about it.
They wanted venues here in Pennsylvania to cancel the event...

Police in Minnesota and their families and friends confronted by a relentless prosecution of police following the killing of George Floyd.

The Republican machine had their candidate for Sheriff the incumbent in my county decades ago but the local law enforcement agencies fed up with lax and unprofessional operation of that office said enough.
They put forward the police chief of the city in the Republican Primary.
They organized through their unions and they got their people to stand outside the polls off-duty officers, retired police etc. etc. and they beat the GOP machine.
The police unions, the network of police won the Primary Election in a Republican dominated county and won the General Election against a weak Democrat Party.

Several months I ago I saw a hit piece on CNN targeting Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva who is a Democrat who defeated the incumbent sheriff four years ago.
This week the California Democrat Attorney General Rob Bonta intervened to take a corruption probe away from the sheriff's office.
The homes of former State Senator now Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and LA Couny Civilian Oversight Commissioner Patti Giggans were raided by the sheriff's department.
Kuehl suspected of arranging no-bid contracts to Giggans non-profit organization.
The two are close friends.
Kuehl has been a rather high-profile Democrat politician flashing her LGBTQ identity along the way remembered in the past for her child-star role in the "Dobie Gillis" TV series some 60 years ago.
People inside the county government apparently gave both Kuehl and Giggans advance notice of the sheriffs department raid.

As she rose in political prominence the woman expected to become the next Prime Minister of Italy at the age of 45 was indeed on the beach in a string bikini illustrating that she had less to hide than other politicians who have been jaded by the wild ways they played politics disappointing Italians in the end and fading in popularity.
