Here I am your currently sober drunk host grateful for clarity in my life in my thinking that only comes with giving up my bottles, my drugs of choice if you will.
Now I want to "Live And Let Live".
A lot of ways people get drunk including money and food and the list goes on I weighed 220 pounds back around 2000 and got myself down to 180 as I got some sobriety under my belt.
It takes a willingness to listen to the Higher Power to achieve that I could not do that on my own.
I weighed 160 pounds coming out of high school 18 years old many years ago.
DRUNK WHILE NOT CONSUMING ALCOHOL
I messed with alcohol to be sure but in the end I was a very religious adult using the Lord's name a lot but still acting like an alcoholic. I was messing with things other than booze in connection with my hatred my fear my rage.
The guy who was Best Man at my wedding said to me in the late 1980's that I was:
"acting like an alcoholic"
Now in sobriety and sanity I have to want Good want what's best for others to simply say "God Bless You" to all out there.
I have to get rid of the Fear and Hatred interlocked with my Intoxication.
