Market news today the price of oil is continuing to move upwards as details of the 'price cap' plan for Russian oil exports have emerged over the weekend.



The United States coordinating the plan to sanction the movement of any Russian oil not exported at a capped price beginning December 5th and Russia countering with its intention not to sell its oil at a lower price.



Oil moved upwards to just about 88 dollars a barrel by late afternoon.


Gas prices at the pumps moving downwards in the pre-election period here in the US the public being told to expect higher prices in the late fall and winter...
