Israel's Housing Minister Yaakov Litzman resigning today over the coronavirus lockdown in Israel. The Orthodox Jewish politician saying that Israel's coronavirus czar Professor Ronni Gamzu is deliberately targeting the Jewish holidays later this month as the time period for a lockdown.

RESIDENTS WILL BE LIMITED TO WITHIN 500 METERS (1640 FEET) OF THEIR HOMES, SCHOOLS WILL CLOSED ALONG WITH RESTAURANTS. STORES SELLING FOOD AND MEDICINE WILL BE ALLOWED TO OPEN......THE STRICT LOCKDOWN MAY EXTEND BEYOND THE THREE WEEK PERIOD.

Thousands gathered in Montreal to protest lockdown restrictions in Canada's province of Quebec. The Saturday protest came on the first day that police in the province were given authority to fine people who are not wearing a mask.
