FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 76: LOCKDOWN CONTINUES WITH VIOLENCE THIS WEEK
The Yellow Vests are off the streets during the lockdown house arrest measures to deal with Covid-19 with the French government envisioning May 11th as a date for some sort of loosening of the confinement.
But in the suburbs of Paris where migrants live and the poor are concentrated the recurring acts of violence are back in the midst of the lockdown.
Fireworks being thrown at the police following an incident last Saturday night involving a motorbike crashing into a police car. People who live in Villeneuve-la-Garenne believe that police targeted the motorbike driver...."FINANCIAL TIMES" STORY
