FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 73: TOUGH ANTI-YELLOW VESTS POLICE CHIEF SHOCKS WITH CORONAVIRUS COMMENTS
Didier Lallement was brought from being in charge of police in Bordeaux to crack down on the Yellow Vests protests in Paris which he and his officers did with relish.
But the Paris Prefect of Police found himself forced to apologize yesterday after harsh comments about the confinement of people to their homes because of the coronavirus.

"No need to be punished to understand that those who are hospitalized today, those found in intensive care now today, and those who at the beginning of confinement did not respect it. There is a very simple correlation: you do not respect the confinement, you are verbalized and you put yourself in danger we risk finding you in intensive care, we risk finding your loved ones in intensive care."
