Tens of thousands protesting in Baghdad's Tahrir Square Friday with police firing rubber bullets and tear gas to prevent the demonstrators from entering the "Green Zone" where government buildings are located.


Some 350 wounded as demonstrations against the government that have killed more than 250 people continue.



In Santiago Chile Friday police using tear gas and water cannon when they came under attack from rock throwing protesters who were among a massive throng that gathered at the Plaza Italia in the center of the city.


Some protesters demanding justice for those killed and wounded by the police during the two weeks of demonstrations and violence in the country.


The protests continue in Algeria on Fridays with this week's demonstrations calling for postponement of presidential elections.     Its believed that perhaps more than a million people protested nationwide.

President Trump now considers himself a resident of Florida.


Court papers filed in Palm Beach County in recent months on behalf of the President and First Lady Melania Trump changing their residency.


The President tweeted Thursday night that New York politicians have treated him badly and that he will move onto Florida after he leaves the White House.


Chad Wolf is to be the new Acting Secretary of Homeland Security replacing the departing Kevin McAleenen.   He will be the fifth DHS Secretary since President Trump took office.   


The "Washington Watcher" of the "VDARE" anti-mass immigration website says the failure of the President to get his favored candidate Ken Cuccinelli into the position indicates that his control of matters is tenuous and that Republican Party forces are blocking his policies from being implemented.

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson disagreeing with the view of President Trump regarding Johnson's "Great New Deal" on Brexit.   Trump told Nigel Farage on his radio show Thursday that Johnson's Brexit plan isn't going to open up trade with the United States because it keeps the UK too closely tied to the European Union.


Johnson also rejecting the advice of both Mr. Trump and Mr. Farage that he should work together with Farage to advance the cause of leaving the European Union.

In his exclusive radio interview with Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage Thrusday, President Trump expressed his hope that Farage could work together with Prime Minister Boris Johnson but Johnson's Conservative Party has consistently rebuffed the notion of Farage being involved with it.


The Brexit Party will contest the December 12th General Election and rolled out its campaign Friday with a 1030 am UK time launch.

ITV in the UK planning a televised debate November 19th excluding most political parties.   Only Prime Minster Johnson and Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn will be on the stage.


The Liberal Democrats, now polling around 20 percent in the UK, called the arrangement a "cozy establishment stitch up."


Spanish authorities have launched new efforts to extradite the former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont from Belgium.   Puigdemont led Catalonia during the 2017 independence referendum and the parliament's independence vote that followed.   He fled Catalonia when Spain's central government intervened to take power after the proclamation of independence.

Russia says joint patrols by Russian and Turkish forces are underway on the border between Syria and Turkey.  The first patrol got underway this morning.

The Syrian Army came under attack Friday in the northern part of Lattakia province in northwestern Syria.   The Syrian forces fighting back to retake positions that were lost early today to the Al-Qaeda movement HTS jihadists.



A rocket barrage aimed at a southern Israeli town tonight.   A home in the town of Sderot was hit.   The rockets coming from Gaza.   No injuries reported.

Overnight Israeli airstrikes were launched against targets in Gaza in response to the barrage.




 WhatsApp used by Israeli hacking software to spy on high-ranking government and military officials in more than 20 countries.


The company behind the software NSO Group sued by WhatsApp this week.  NSO says it only sells its products to governments and claims they are meant to help governments catch criminals and terrorists.

A US government committee reported launching a national security review of a popular Chinese video app.


TikTok is being probed by an interagency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States according to media reports from numerous outlets.


No public comment from CFIUS on the matter.


Saudi Arabia's Aramco oil firm, owned by the government, reported to be going public with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin-Salman giving the go ahead Friday.


Expectations that investors could pour some 2 trillion dollars into the company.


Beto O'Rourke dropping out of the race to be President.    The Democrat from Texas calling it quits.


One of the Democrats in the top tier of candidates, Senator Elizabeth Warren, says her Medicare expansion plan to cover all Americans can be done with costs being contained.


Warren saying she would not need to "tax the middle class" but would enforce existing tax laws and tax the wealthiest Americans to help fund her plans for federal spending.
