YELLOW VESTS WEEK 39:  THE 'STEVE' CASE REVIVED PROTEST LAST WEEK WITH 20-THOUSAND PLUS AND IT CONTINUES THIS WEEK

The "Yellow Number" Facebook broke with its planned location only summary of protests last week by publishing figures of people protesting as the conduct of police became a hot issue in France.

20,457 estimated across France last Saturday in protests dominated by the case of Steve Maia Canico.    He disappeared when police used rubber bullets, tear gas cannisters and stun grenades to break up a music festival in Nantes at 430 am on June 22nd.

"Where Is Steve?" became a hashtag and a cause across France in the aftermath of his disappearance.

His body pulled from the Loire River Monday July 29th.

The next day a police inspector general's report already prepared was released to the public saying police were not responsible for anyone falling into the river as a result of their actions June 22nd.

Now the slogan-hashtag is:

"Justice for Steve"

In Nantes today a  "White March" planned by his friends and supporters urging everyone to dress in white to memorialize Steve.    France 3 television reported from the scene of the memorial....LINK
