French President Emmanuel Macron had proposed it during the election campaign this year and now 200 randomly chosen French citizens have come together to consider "priority issues" regarding the "end of life".

Kurds believe Turkey (Turkiye) is involved and this was a terrorist attack. France has been helping Greece this year with aircraft and ships.
That's because Turkey has been sending planes and ships into waters Greece considers to be its territory. The Turks claim the Greeks are provoking confrontation in the Aegean.
For now that is the story of France and the Yellow Vests for this week
