FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 214: WORLD CUP FEVER PROVIDES DISTRACTION FROM COLDER WEATHER, THE PROTESTS TODAY

The excitement in France running high and media attention focused on the World Cup of football (soccer),


 Sunday's championship match in Qatar between France and Argentina follows last Wednesday's semifinal match between France and Morocco that brought French President Emmanuel Macron to the stadium in Qatar.


Controversy over Macron going to Qatar as the "scandal" broke late in the week regarding the EU and alleged bribery of EU officials to paint a positive picture of the Persian Gulf oil kingdom.


There were disturbances in France after the "Blues" defeated Morocco in the semifinal with alleged "far-right gangs" attacking the Moroccan fans in southern French cities and towns.


14,000 police mobilizing for any fans on the streets of France tomorrow.



President Emmanuel Macron with some athletes in his entourage and others will attend the World Cup Final.


MEANWHILE THE WEATHER TURNS COLDER AND THE STRAIN ON FRANCE'S ENERGY GRID AND ENERGY SUPPLIES BUILDS.

In Pau in southwestern France a Yellow Vests protest today 472 particpants counted in today's demonstration.


Opposition to various policies of the Macron government including those related to COVID vaccines...
