YELLOW VESTS ARRIVE TO PROTEST IN PARIS JANUARY 1, 2022
It's been called the "health passport" but the French government is now moving to bring in a "vaccine passport".
The health passport allowed vaccination, recent recovery from COVID and a recent negative test to be valid.
But the vaccine passport will only allow for vaccination or recent recovery to be valid.
The government's plan is to have the new system in place two weeks from today on January 15th.
Outdoor mask rules imposed including the region in and around Paris.

This week a protest leader on Guadeloupe detained as police countered protests aggressively.

This intensification surrounding Guadeloupe's resistance to coerced vaccination follows the January 6th style incident when protesters were seen occupying its legislative assembly for hours back on December 23rd.
The incident had all the trappings of what happened at the US Capitol almost a year ago with legislators fleeing and locking themselves in offices etc. etc. but police held back from intervention.
Perhaps the intention of this incident was to allow the visuals to drive a wedge into resistance to vaccine coercion, to portray opposition to forced vaccination as radical and extreme...

INTERIOR MINISTER GERALD DARMANIN ANNOUNCED 441 ARRESTS AND REPORTED THAT 874 CARS BURNED IN FRANCE TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR.
WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION LOOMING IN APRIL DARMANIN TRIED TO PAINT A POSITIVE PICTURE NOTING THAT 2019 IN FRANCE STARTED WITH 1316 VEHICLES BURNED. HE HEAPED PRAISE ON LAW ENFORCEMENT.
779 PEOPLE FINED FOR NOT WEARING MASKS OUTDOORS TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR IN THE PARIS AREA
FRANCE'S MASK ORDER TIGHTENED TO INCLUDE EVERYONE SIX YEARS AND OLDER ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND IN RESTAURANTS.
NO FOOD WILL BE SERVED ON TRAINS AND ALL GUESTS MUST BE SEATED AT RESTAURANTS AND BARS.

And the Yellow Vests in Besancon near the Swiss border opted to protest on New Year's Eve taking their demonstration to a traffic circle. Traffic circles one of the locales for the early Yellow Vests protests in France back in 2018...

And in Tours today a crowd gathered to protest the vaccine passport planned by the French government in the coming weeks...
And finally tonight Health Minister Olivier Veran creating new quarantine rules that favor the vaccinated over the unvaccinated.
Its seven days for vaccinated people with the quarantine shortened to five if there is a negative antigen or PCR test.
For the unvaccinated the quarantine is ten days long with the period shortened to seven days in case of negative tests.
