THE TRUMP RALLY: OUTSPOKEN WORDS TO INSPIRE SUPPORTERS AND ENTRAP OPPONENTS
(COMMENT AND ANALYSIS)
"hold them by the nose, kick them in the a** and give them hell all the time"
General George S. Patton Jr.-"The Speech"
When Donald Trump was in the White House British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a major beneficiary of Trump support, said there was a:
"method"
to Trump's actions.
And indeed there is.
A relentless attack a relentless enticement of the politically biased media was evident in Sarasota on Saturday night.
As distasteful as their political bias is even Bill Clinton called the major media "the liberal media" the biased media are a known quantity.
A good political operator can opt to kiss up to them like Clinton did for the sake of his political survival in the impeachment era of the late 1990's.
And a good political operator can opt to create conflict with them and reap the benefit of saying to the world they are being victimized by a biased news media.
The "red meat" was thrown at the "canine media" even before Mr. Trump took to the stage.
Congressman Matt Gaetz said that once Democrat control of the House ended in the mid-term elections next year, he would support Trump for Speaker of the House. (President Trump himself clearly aiming his speech at voter mobilization for 2022)
Donald Trump Jr. talked the border where Trump and Republicans have the focus group popular opinion advantage then put the Democrats in the league of authoritarianism:
"The political persecutions will continue....basically we are no different than Russia and China. We are no different than the mullahs in Iran....This is how Vladimir Putin treats their enemies...
...How many of you guys have been suppressed on social media...?"
--(Donald Trump Jr. Sarasota, Florida July 3, 2021)
Donald J. Trump himself spoke out and was outspoken time and time again bringing the hot button issues of the "Conservative Media" like critical race theory, males in female sports and the border to the front of the line:
"Critical Race Theory is being shoved down our children's throats into the ranks of our military"
"Men are allowed to play in women's sports...so unfair...so crazy"
"Joe Biden has intentionally dismantled the border and allowed the cartels, the coyotes, child smugglers, woman smugglers, the biggest smugglers....drug dealers, murderers and savage MS-13 gang members to infiltrate our country like never before..."
Those words are the kind that enrage the media members and their notions of what the real world is like. The need to write stories to refute Trump incited enough by the words spoken early in his speech but President Trump wasn't stopping there.
He talked about the "witch hunt" aimed at him including the recent decision by Manhattan Democrat DA Cyrus Vance to prosecute his business and its Chief Financial Officer.
But then later on the events of January 6th a holy grail to mainstream media and Democrat politicians.
Opponents of Trump see it as an "Insurrection" an incident where people died but only one died as the victim direct of violence at the Capitol that day. Donald Trump unleashed powerful words on an iconic issue for the established media:
"By the way who shot Ashli Babbitt? Who shot Ashli Babbitt? Who? Who shot Ashli Babbitt? We all saw the hand. We saw the gun.
I spoke to her mother the other day an incredible woman she's just devastated. Like it happened yesterday. Devastated.
You know that were the other side the person that did the shooting would be strung up and hung. Okay.
Now they don't want to give the name. They don't want to give. But people know the name. People know where he cam from.
And its a terrible thing. Shot. Boom. There was no reason for it. Who shot Ashli Babbitt? Its gotta be released.
And how come so many people are still in jail over January 6th when nobody paid a price for the fire and carnage and death that took place in Democrat-run cities throughout our country including Antifa and BLM? How come. How come?"
If those words do not cause Media and Democrats hostile to President Trump to go on the attack nothing will. And to the extent they attack he will reap the reward of being their victim.
For Trump the tough speech was important to rally those who support him to his side so he can lead them into the 2022 Mid-Term Elections and herd them into voting for the candidates he supports next year.
President Trump will be campaigning in primaries to get his people to vote for his kind of Republicans. Then in the general election he will urge his supporters to vote Republican to return House control to the GOP.
