So much fear in this world and I wish it could be better.
The best I can do is to move forward without fear sober and sane maintaining peace and serenity helping others just plain flat out doing the right thing.

Retired Army Colonel Pat Lang at "turcopolier.com" offered up a post "The Greater Good" offering his perspective asking "What would I have done as an officer if I had to consider employing experimental vaccines?" which is the dilemma we all face when it comes to vaccination.

HOW CAN WE TRUST THE PEOPLE WHO LIED TO US ABOUT MASKS WHEN IT COMES TO VACCINATION?
".....there was an experiment, run by pro-mask scientists in Denmark, which asked 3,000 volunteers to wear masks and another 3,000 not to.
After two months, 1.8 percent of those wearing masks caught Covid, compared to 2.1 percent of those who didn't. The scientists concluded that the difference between the two groups was 'not statistically significant'.
That is why, apart from The Mail on Sunday, no major British media ever reported this study. It is why it struggled even to get published by a major scientific journal.
The supposed reverence for 'the science' among the Covid crackdown zealots is not a reverence for science itself.
Science is a hard mistress, which simply discards beliefs that have been overthrown by experiment. What the zealots have is reverence for individual scientists who happen to agree with them, a very different thing. In fact, it is much like the medieval religious view, that anything spoken from on high must be accepted..."

Peter Hitchens kept up the mask discussion in an interview with a new media outlet in the UK "GB News".
Hitchens noting that the government and the World Health Organization were telling people masks weren't effective, that they didn't work until June of last year....

"....There was a fascinating scoop by Deborah Cohen the Medical Correspondent for "BBC Newsnight" a year ago now when the World Health Organization reversed its position on masks.
She inquired and discovered from contacts that the decision has not been taken as a result of medical information but for political reasons....
I think the evidence is all over the place that the reason why the British government and some others seek to continue mask wearing is that they see it as a badge of compliance
and that they think if people stop wearing masks as they have in a large parts of the United States, if they stop wearing the masks then the whole atmosphere of what I would call 'fear and panic' which has been created by mask wearing over the past year or so will dissipate.
And once people stop being as afraid as they have been the entire the entire state of compliance the willingness of people to do all kinds of things in the belief if they don't do them everyone will fall ill will diminish..."

And there you have it a means of control ordering us all to wear ineffective cloth masks over our face.
Leading us to the next compliance step of getting jabbed with experimental vaccines that aren't fully tested and approved yet.
(The N95 masks offer real protection and they cost money and I was lucky enough to have access to them when they were hard to get last year so when I masked I actually had protection from COVID.)

The full length version there of "The Girl From Ipanema" in both Portuguese and English they cut it for play on the radio back in 1964 you had to have a 3 minute song for the radio stations that played 18 minutes of commercials back then.
The money was made on radio back then depending on how you programmed the station hits usually meant ratings and commercials.
The trend as the 1960's moved on was to play more music and trim back the commercials but the more music usually centered around a Top 30 as opposed to a Top 40 list of songs.
