Indiana Republican State Representative Christy Stutzman turning in her resignation this week noting the authoritarian nature of Republican Governor Eric Holcomb's response to the coronavirus. She wrote about the unilateral nature of the coronavirus restrictions imposed without legislative approval.
Stutzman said that her family business has been "devastated by the mandatory restrictions" imposed by the Republican governor.

Coronavirus statistics from Worldometers for the USA today lower on the Thanksgiving holiday with the total 108,063 new positive tests. Many states not reporting but among those that did the top numbers came from Illinois 12,022, California 10,133 and Pennsylvania 7,427.
Worldwide the statistics showing 541,200 new positive COVID-19 tests with the US leading the nations. Among the other countries Italy 29,003, Russia 25,487, Mexico 10,335, Turkey 7,657 and Canada 5,631.
