The COVID-19 stats for today via Worldometers showing 161,541 new positive tests in the USA led by Illinois with 12,702, Texas with 10,378 and California with 9,158.   Other states include Wisconsin 7,497, Ohio 7,115, Indiana 6,591, Pennsylvania 6,023 and Colorado 5,197.



Some numbers from the states with smaller populations   Utah 3,919, Nebraska 2,611, South Dakota 2,020, North Dakota 1,800, Oregon 1,109 and Wyoming 1,105.



Around the world 643,043 new positive tests with the US leading the nations.    Other countries include Italy 37,798,  the UK 33,470, Russia 21,608, Belgium 7,916 and Canada 5,516.
