The New Hampshire Primary today with Democrat Bernie Sanders achieving victory again in the popular vote. In last week's Iowa caucuses Sanders won the popular vote count when it eventually emerged but the Democratic Party awarded more delegates to Pete Buttigieg. The Sanders campaign wants a review of the Iowa vote.

Syrian government forces have now taken control of the M5 highway in its entirety from Damascus to Aleppo following their advances in recent offensives in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.

The merger between T-Mobile and Sprint, two of the nation's four largest phone providers, approved today by a US District Judge. Its a big step forward with the California Public Utilities Commission's approval needed for the deal to close.

The coronavirus stats from China Wednesday morning 1,113 dead with some 44,600 infected.
The coronavirus now has a name. The World Health Organization dubbing it "Covid 19". The WHO envisions a vaccine being developed in 18 months.
There are currently 13 coronavirus infections in the United States.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announcing a that a controversial and massive "infrastructure" project, the HS 2 high speed rail link, will go forward. The first phase will connect London and Birmingham, with later extension to Manchester and Leeds....BBC STORY
Johnson also set to announce another big "infrastructure" project, a huge 23 billion dollar plan to build a 25 to 28 mile long bridge for rail and auto traffic between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Four federal prosecutors quitting today after the Justice Department said it would seek a reduced sentence for Roger Stone.
Those federal prosecutors wanted the longtime Republican political operative Roger Stone to serve seven to nine years in prison after being convicted in connection with Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller's "Russian collusion" probe against President Trump and his 2016 political campaign.
President Trump tweeted hours before the Justice Department's announcement that the proposed sentence was "very horrible and unfair".
