FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 67: PENSION BILL IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HOW WILL IT BE PASSED?
The pension reform plan of President Emmanuel Macron has finally made it to the floor of the National Assembly with thousands of amendments proposed seeming to mean a lengthy delay in its movement.
Premier Edouard Philippe may have an option available to him in France's constitution. Its Article 49.3 which allows him to declare a law in force unless a majority can be summoned to vote it down.
Use of Article 49, Paragraph 3 would be a messy matter and is said not to be desired even by some members of the pro-Macron majority in the assembly.
More protests on the streets against pension reform this week and now another Saturday of Yellow Vests protests.
Yellow Vests activist Eric Drouet was pushed out of an agricultural show today as he showed up with other protesters at the site to be visited by President Emmanuel Macron today. Shouts of "Dictatorship" as the prohibition on demonstrations at the show was enforced. Drouet ended up being arrested accused of "rebellion".

Macron said it was impossible to revalue the existing pensions of farmers to 85 percent of France's minimum wage.
