President Trump has approved an emergency declaration because of wildfires in California.
Its been a brutal week of wildfires affecting northern California with nine deaths in the town of Paradise. 6,700 structures were destroyed there in the town of 26,000 when the fire suddenly swept through causing confusion and traffic jams in the midst of the raging inferno.
35 PEOPLE ARE REPORTED MISSING THERE.
The "Camp Fire" has burned some 90,000 acres and is only five percent contained. Evacuation centers are set up in three northern California counties.
Yesterday, a new massive fire rapidly spread in southern California, the "Woolsey Fire", is threatening homes in Malibu with residents ordered evacuated including the celebrities that have homes there,
Among those who've left their homes are Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian.
Also impacted by evacuation orders are Calabasas and Thousand Oaks, site of Wednesday night's attack at a bar and grill that killed 12.
Dormitories at Pepperdine University were reported threatened with students moved to other campus buildings for their safety.
Two deaths may be fire-related in southern California. Bodies were discovered late Friday afternoon by the LA County Sheriff's Department and they told the coroner's office they believe those deaths were fire related.
At least one hundred structures were reported destroyed as of late last night, many of them in the Malibu area.
250,000 people have been ordered evacuated in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. More evacuations are possible,
President Trump tweeted about the situation at around 3am this morning.
"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor...."
Trump appeared to threaten a cutoff of federal funding to the state for forest management if policy is not changed in his tweet.
There has been criticism year after year of the way forests are not properly cleared of excess brush and trees which increase the fire danger.
Protection of the environment has been used to justify the lack of such clearance.

Its part of the "Solider X" campaign to protest discharge of a British soldier and punishment of other soldiers for being photographed with Robinson.
Robinson said he thinks the protest movement has already had a victory since he has received word that the 17 year old solider was not discharged but is finishing his military training. Robinson said he will continue to monitor the situation.
Tommy Robinson's Pay Pal account was also suspended this week, but he isn't alone. Other groups or individuals targeted include Gavin McInnes, the Proud Boys, Sacramento Antifa, Atlanta Antifa and the Anti-Fascist Network.
The vice-mayor of the southern Swedish town of Karlskrona, Christopher Larsson, is under investigaton as a "hate criminal". Larsson is a member of the Sweden Democrats, the anti mass immigration party.
He posted on Facebook last year in opposition to loudspeakers in the town broadcasting the Muslim call to prayer stating that:

Saudi Arabia's official news agency reports today that the United States will no longer refuel Saudi coalition aircraft participating in Yemen's civil war.
The report claims both sides came to mutual agreement about the matter but since the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi last month the US has called for a cease-fire in the war and negotiations to begin between the warring parties.
The United Nations estimates that some three million people have left Venezuela since 2015. That's approaching ten percent of the country's population.
