ELECTION 2018 UNPLUGGED: WHEN IT COMES TO 'FOREIGN INFLUENCE'  WILL CHINA OR SAUDI ARABIA WIN?

You've heard the "stuff" dished out about foreign influence on our elections....Russia, Russia, Russia.

But Vice President Mike Pence had a much broader list than that when he spoke recently citing Russia, China and Iran, along with "other nations".

And he's dead on right.

There's been a lot of griping from people who do business and make bucks dealing with China over the tariffs President Trump imposed to force fairer trade.

I heard this kind of *itching from a trade association of adult beverage manufacturers in Kentucky when I listened to the radio down there during my summer vacation.

But there was a nation or two VP Pence left out because well, they are close to Trump and the GOP.

None other than the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reputed to spend 290 million dollars on lobbying here in the USA with President Trump visiting last year, doing the "sword dance" and signing off on a 110 billion dollar arms deal.

In the aftermath of the Jamal Khashoggi murder, Trump said the deal is worth a half-million jobs, then later on another occasion one million jobs was the figure he gave.

Khashoggi was said to be planning disclosure of chemical weapons use by the Saudis in the Yemen war with the US now calling for a cease fire.

And then the war Saudi Arabia launched in Syria seven years ago with head chopping Al-Qaeda bringing atrocities to the battlefield and the ISIS forces that morphed out of them raping and pillaging Syria and Iraq.

And speaking of rape, what about all those migrants the Saudi backed war drove into Europe.

And Israel has always lobbied our politicians and shares a common anti-Iran agenda with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman's defense in the aftermath of the Khashoggi killing.

And his government was right in there defending the POTUS from attack following the synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh last weekend.

Yes, foreign influence is on the ballot this Tuesday and depending on whether the Democrats or the Republicans win will tell us who's foreign influence has the upper hand.
