The US military has attacked Venezuela seizing its President Nicolas Maduro who will be charged with drug offenses in the United States.
Mr. Maduro's wife was also seized by the US.
Several leading personalities in the current government are possible successors.
No immediate word on US military casualties with President Trump later stating that no Americans were killed.
The US military action condemned by China, Russia and Brazil.
Russia calling for the release of Mr. Maduro.
Inside Venezuela the public urged to take to the streets in support of the government.
Vice-President Delcy Rodriguez calling for Mr. Maduro's release in a televised speech.
Maduro arrived in New York he was taken to the headquarters of the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
