HE WAS UNABLE TO GET THIS YEAR'S BUDGET THROUGH THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY BEFORE THE END OF LAST YEAR.
LECORNU HAS VOWED TO GET A 2026 BUDGET PASSED WITHOUT RESORTING TO ARTICLE 49.3 FORCING PASSAGE WITHOUT A NATIONAL ASSEMBLY VOTE.
THE PRIME MINISTER COURTING THE SOCIALIST PARTY FOR SUPPORT NEEDED TO PASS A BUDGET HE SPOKE OF INDEXING INCOME TAXES TO INFLATION AND TWEAKING OF VARIOUS BENEFITS GIVEN TO STUDENTS AND OTHERS.
