A social media ban for children under the age of 15 is coming into force in France.
It's an idea President Emmanuel Macron has wholeheartedly endorsed.
Legislation began moving in the National Assembly this week that would impose the ban in September when the new school year begins....
This week a four-year prison sentence given to a former Moderate Senator aligned with President Emmanuel Macron over the drugging of a fellow Moderate National Assembly member.
Joel Guerriau found to have drugged Sandrine Josso using MDMA (Ecstasy) with the intent of sexually assaulting or raping her.
Mr Guerriau required to serve 18 months in jail in connection with the sentence and ordered to pay nine thousand Euros (10,800 USD) in damages to Josso.
