YELLOW VESTS PROTEST MEDIA CENSORSHIP, LYING AND MANIPULATION IN PARIS NOVEMBER 4, 2023
Last Sunday President Emmanuel Macron who's been on a conservative "law and order" path for much of this year tried to strike a more progressive tone last Sunday calling for abortion to be enshrined in France's constitution.
Prior to his re-election last year, Macron moved the bar for abortion in France from 12 weeks to 14 weeks proclaiming it to be "Pro-Choice". In the United States some states like Mississippi passed slightly more liberal 15-week abortion laws proclaiming them to be "Pro-Life".
THIS WEEKEND MARKS FIVE YEARS SINCE THE YELLOW VESTS PROTESTS FIRST EMERGED IN NOVEMBER OF 2018.
THEY WERE IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDRNT EMMANUEL MACRON'S USE 'CLIMATE CHANGE' TO IMPOSE MAJOR HIKES IN GASOLINE AND FUEL TAXES...

At times today there was rain during the march as a small group of some 100 people took to the streets.
The march today fronted by a banner reading:
"Stop Censure, Mensonage Et Manipulation"
In English that would read:
"Stop Censorship, Lying And Manipulation"
The banner a promotion for alternative media.
The drums could be heard in today's march along with some singing.

Meanwhile in Paris today a much larger protest some 60-thousand according to the organizers and only 19-thousand according to the police.
It was a "March for Gaza" a Pro-Palestinian demonstration.
Prominent in the protest the leader of the "Left" in France Jean-Luc Melenchon...
President Macron announcing the dispatch of a second French helicopter carrier to the Middle East.
The "Dixmude" said to be an additional vessel that will provide humanitarian aid for Gaza but as of yet Israel is not allowing this kind of assistance into Gaza.
For now that is the story of France and the Yellow Vests.
