President Emmanuel Macron talking about the violence on French streets in recent months and the police killing of "Nahel" in Marseille.
Speaking to "Le Point" Mr. Macron said most of those arrested were born in France (90 percent) and that they often came from single-parent families or are involved in the child welfare system.
Macron talking about the need to integrate those young people into society through the economy and employment. He urged more education and less "screen time" for youth.
Macron claiming that France does not a have an "immigration" problem but rather an "integration" problem.
On the big issue of "Climate" that has played in France this week with high temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the country Macron urged transition away from fossil fuels.
But he claimed to be against those who simply tell others to live a different lifestyle those who take 'extreme' views and polarize society.
Macron urging more action to reduce the carbon footprint rather than talking about how wrong others are in their carbon usage.
Last winter he warned France that the "end of abundance" had arrived.
INTERIOR MINISTER GERALD DARMANIN DENIED THAT IMMIGRATION WOULD BE A DECIDING ISSUE IN THE 2027 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
IN AN INTERVIEW WITH THE 'LA VOIX DU NORD' NEWSPAPER DARMANIN SAID IT WAS POSSIBLE THAT MARINE LE PEN WOULD WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN 2027.
HE SAID LE PEN WOULD WIN ON THE BASIS OF BEING THE CANDIDATE WHO WOULD CAPTURE WORKING AND MIDDLE CLASS SUPPORT ON THE BASIS OF ORDER IN SOCIETY IN GENERAL AND SCHOOLS IN PARTICULAR.
MR. DARMANIN WANTING THE CENTRIST GOVERNMENT OF PRESIDENT MACRON TO BRING ORDER TO SCHOOLS AND SOCIETY TO SUPPORT POLICE IN BRINGING 'ORDER' TO FRANCE.
President Emmanuel Macron put out a letter on Friday evening calling on opposition parties represented with a group in either the Senate or National Assembly to join him Wednesday afternoon for 'an afternoon of joint work and dinner'.
This move of reaching out to opposition parties is not some noble gesture it is rather an attempt to look good to influence public opinion which currently takes a dim view of Mr. Macron and his government.
