                                                         (COMMENT AND ANALYSIS)

Before the news of events in Israel today comment and analysis.

In the small nation of Georgia next to Russia in the last 24 hours protesters have succeeded in thwarting a 76-13 intitial parliamentary vote in favor of foreign agents registration legislation.

The legislation opposed by the US and US aligned nations in the 'rules based international order' camp.

The elected government forced to back down on the legislation called a "Russian bill" by the forces of world order.

The bill also opposed by the Georgian president who would have had to have signed the legislation if it had gotten to final approval.

It's very much a similar situation with this judicial reform legislation in Israel mass demonstrations and criticism coming from the Biden Administration along with global business and banking forces including Moody's investor service and billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

The legislation is designed to give the elected officials in Israel more power to appoint judges and the Attorney General as well.

It's also designed to prevent the judiciary from easily throwing out any legislation passed by the parliament.

Israel's President Isaac Herzog again speaking out against the judicial reform plan tonight demanding "compromise".

Herzog would have to sign off on the legislation after its final approval.

If the legislation actually moves to final passage in the weeks ahead there have been calls for the Attorney General to challenge it before the High Court and for the court to overturn it.

The judicial reform legislation states it cannot be overturned by a court.

Will the massive crowds in the streets of Israel backed by Global Order forces win this fight?

That remains to be seen.

For his part, Mr. Netanyahu is supposed to stay clear of the issue by an opinion of the Attorney General, but there are talks in the shadows some modifications of the legislation talked about but not enough for the mob in the streets and their powerful and influential backers.
