The British Minister of State for Defense (Deputy Defense Minister) has said in writing that the UK will be sending depleted uranium shells to Ukraine.



The uranium shells will be used in the Challenger 2 tanks being given to Ukraine.    


The US Enironmental Protection Agency says particles of it can cause serious health problems if they are inhaled or ingested.
