YELLOW VESTS MARCH IN PARIS PROTEST SATURDAY 8/13/2022
The focus of media attention the massive brush fire in southwestern France. Hundreds of firefighters backed up by aircraft battling the blaze near Bordeaux. Assistance from other countries brought into help with the firefighting effort.
There are several brush fires active in France right now but the fires in Ardeche and Morbihan are being contained according to authorities while the advance of the major fire in Gironde has come to a halt.

The protesters today in the hundreds marching with flags and banners some in Yellow Vests others not one banner read by demonstators simply saying:
"Les Medias Mentent"

"The Media Lie"
A detachment of police along with the protesters in the streets as is the norm.
A 67 minute video posted online for today's protests labels the protest as one for the:
"Abolition of the vaccine health pass law"
For now the government in a backdown mode with a legislative majority in the National Assembly only allowing border controls related to COVID-19 for the moment.
Other causes visible in the demonstration including the waving of a banner "Sahara Libre" and that is related to a territorial dispute in the Western Sahara that includes both Morocco and Algeria as parties in dispute over that part of Africa.
