I recall when journalist Howard K. Smith was in Berlin in 1940 and 1941 it looked like the Nazis would rule the world until Hitler ran into the Soviet Union or Russia if you prefer.
Why in the heck do our leaders and experts keep wanting to butt heads with Russia nowadays?

BLAST FROM THE PAST-PHIL REASER (AKA PHIL GARDNER) RADIO PERSONALITY
That powerful country music played right here in York, PA on WNOW Radio in York and the station used AM 1250 and 105.7 FM to play the "country hits" although the list of songs actually played was very wide one incorporating the music above along with bluegrass and folk rock a 100 song playlist as I recall being at some of the remote broadcasts with a guy whose Facebook page I'm going to link to.
"Phil Gardner" was big in Cleveland radio in the 1970's but he was in a lot of other places and ended up with WBCL Christian Radio in Fort Wayne, Indiana using his given name "Phil Reaser".
I hung with this guy for a year at remote broadcasts with good memories of those times a big influence on my life leading me into the media career I had when I was younger.
