Tonight political turmoil in Northern Ireland as recently appointed Democratic Unionist Party leader Edwin Poots resigned. Poots going ahead today appointing a new Northern Ireland executive from the DUP to share power with Sinn Fein.
Most members of his party caucus opposed the move following Poots decision to accept a British government deal that would force Irish language legislation on the province.
