That line getting some flak in recent years all the "Me Too" brouhaha.

My perspective takes me back to my younger days and my participation in religious activities a woman speaking to the girls warning them about the:

"kiss that demands a response"

I guess decades later I've come to realize that a kiss doesn't have to selfish or lustful which is something I couldn't understand in my childish intoxicated younger days.

Speaking of mistletoe Dr. Fauci why don't you meet me under it.    I have some "cheeks" for you to kiss...

And indeed it did happen during World War I when the soldiers on both sides decided that the fighting ordered by their higher ups wasn't going to be happening at Christmas...

Too many orders from higher ups nowadays indeed my friends....

At Christmas "The First Circle" television series based on Aleksandr Solzehnitsyn's novel and when a prisoner was allowed to meet family "social distancing" was expected and the rule was enforced by the presence of the secret police at the family meetings.    That figures in episode number four....
