The new coronavirus spending bill passing Congress Monday evening as part of the spending plan for the rest of the fiscal year worth some 2.3 trillion dollars. The 900 billion dollars in COVID-19 spending will jack up unemployment benefits by 300 dollars a week for 10 weeks and provide 600 dollars to all earning up to 75 thousand dollars a year.
The latest tonight is that President Trump wants the bill amended to raise the payments from 600 dollars to two thousand dollars.
