THE DICATORSHIP WINS DOWN UNDER IN NEW ZEALAND
Welcome to the weekend calculating Day 216 of the Dictatorship of COVID-19 where crisis leads to authoritarian government unquestioned and unchecked even by elections, perhaps embraced.
New Zealand's dictator on two counts-COVID-19 and firearms-winning big in terms of her country's politics with almost half of the popular vote. Jacinda Ardern's Labor Party looking at a majority in its own right in the 120 seat parliament.
Her junior partner in the current government "New Zealand First" wiped out and the Republican-RINO "National Party" blunted. The Greens won seats and there was a big rise in support for the ACT Party of libertarians who promote "individual freedom and personal responsibility" their party leader and only parliament member the sole vote against the mass firearms confiscation in the country.
Now David Seymour with nine more members in Parliament that party will have 10 seats.
Seymour calls his party's unprecedented success "bittersweet" and "not good for New Zealand" in the context of Jacinda Ardern's increased power as a result of the election.

Of course as one considers the incumbent Prime Minister's win in New Zealand one should note that in times of "crisis" there is a rallying around the incumbent. What does that tell us about the election here in the USA?

Donald Trump focused like a laser beam on the economy not allowing COVID-19 to kill it and his re-election bid.
The media and political critics call Trump a "liar" on the coronavirus but all that he has said this year had its purpose. Propping up the economy which is in his self-interest but also in the interest of us all.
My retirement savings would be cut in half if Joe Biden's mouth was talking COVID-19 inside the White House.
And Anthony Fauci would gut our retirement savings even more if his mouth was behind the Presidential seal.
FBI INFORMANTS TALK TO PEOPLE WITH DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROBLEMS AND THEY END UP CALLING IT 'DOMESTIC TERRORISM'
Indeed that may the real story buried behind the federal and state hype over the charges against "militia members" in multiple states recently centering on the authoritarian governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer.
I saw the hype and hyperbole in connection with the cases made against the Bundys and others in the Oregon Standoff and Bunkerville Standoff so I'm open to this explanation of that matter no matter how much US Attorney-FBI excrement is blown into the wall in this case. The Michigan Attorney General also blowing his own "stuff" with separate charges.
Peter Hitchens has often offered his investigative insight into actual "terrorists" noting their drug problems and suggesting drugs are the problem, not terrorism. Violent acts being described as a byproduct of drug addiction.
These "domestic terrorism" suspects may just have drug and alcohol problems that need to be addressed.
And by the way the accused are "innocent until proven guilty" under the Constitution of the United States but don't tell that to the *hit shooting federal and state prosecutors in Michigan.
