WORD FOLLOWING THE MEETING OF A CEASE-FIRE BEGINNING AT 1201 AM LOCAL TIME MARCH 6TH, 501 PM EASTERN US TIME TODAY.


AFTER THE CEASE-FIRE CAME INTO FORCE FIGHTING WAS REPORTED EARLY FRIDAY LOCAL TIME INVOLVING SYRIAN TROOPS AND JIHADISTS WITHOUT TURKISH MILITARY INVOLVEMENT.....SOUTHFRONT STORY




Opposition sources in Syria say Syrian and Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes across northwestern Syria today.


Its reported that five Turkish soldiers died today.



More Turkish soldiers killed and wounded as they fight alongside Al Qaeda and other elements in Greater  Idlib opposing the Syrian government.   Four dead and seven injured yesterday according to the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

There are 70 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state of Washington and 22 in New York.


Vice-President Mike Pence acknowledging a shortage of test kits to meet the expected demand.



The US Senate approving 96-1 the 8.3 billion dollar spending plan for coronavirus already approved by the House.   US Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Kentucky, voting against the legislation, saying that spending should have been reduced in other areas to pay for the coronavirus spending.




The number of coronavirus cases in Germany has reached 349 jumping by 109 in the last 24 hours......TASS NEWS REPORT


In France today 377 cases reported early today up 92 from yesterday's 285.     There have been two more deaths in France in the last 24 hours with the national total at seven.   By tonight the number of cases in France reported at 423 including a member of the National Assembly and an employee of the legislative body.



Its now Friday in South Korea with the latest report on the number of cases up 519 to 6,284.

The final election results from Monday's election in Israel  declared this evening with Likud the party of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at  36 seats, the Blue and White Party of former Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Benny Gantz at 33 seats and in third place the Joint List representing Arabs in Israel with 15 seats.


The "Right" in Israel at 58 seats and the "Left" at 55 seats with Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) holding seven seats.   The stalemate in Israeli politics appears to be firmly in place after the third election in less than a year....ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS STORY

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is now at New York's Rikers Island prison awaiting sentencing next Wednesday.   Convicted of sexual assault and rape on February 25th, Weinstein complained of chest pains and was taken to a hospital where a stent was implanted because of a heart blockage.
