In a Paris court this week Marine Le Pen contesting the allegations against her and other defendants regarding European Parliament assistants employed by them.

Le Pen saying the assistants were there to enlarge their political ideas as well as doing business related to the parliament.

It's alleged that those assistants were employed in an illegal way because of their political activities.

The charges carry the potential of knocking Le Pen out as a presidential candidate in the 2027 election...
