The motion from the New Popular Front Left got only 197 votes from 577 members.

The Left noting they were denied the ability to form a new government by President Emmanuel Macron in spite of winning the largest number of seats in the election several months ago...

When it comes to income taxes for 2024 to be paid next year "inflation adjustments" of two percent have been factored in for tax brackets except the highest rate of 45 percent. 



By the way the latest calculation of the rate of inflation in France is 2.2 percent.


Income for the first 11,520 Euros (12,595.97 US Dollars) of income will not be taxed up from 11,294 Euros (12,348.86 US Dollars). 



In addition the tax allowance for married people or people with children is increased from 6,674 Euros (7,297.35 US Dollars) to 6,807 Euros (7,442.77 US Dollars)...
